Our past and present developments

Principal Properties has been actively developing, investing and managing commercial real estate since 2002.  We have taken many projects from conceptual design through construction and project completion. As developer, Principal Properties was responsible for all activities including land acquisition, feasibility analysis, site planning, financing, budgeting, infrastructure development, construction, marketing, sales and management.

Alder Pointe Apartments

April 2017

Alder Pointe Apartments is a new, 180-unit multi-family project located in Battle Ground, WA.  Principal Properties is the developer and asset manager and overcame numerous challenges to complete the project on schedule and under budget.

Scotton Landing

2010 - Present

Scotton Landing is a 21-acre mixed-use project that will total 400,000 square feet of commercial, retail and multi-family space. The project is approximately 75% developed with all entitlements and infrastructure completed. Principal Properties is the developer and asset manager.

Millcreek Town Center

2010 - Present

Millcreek Town Center is a 21-acre retail center located in Battle Ground, WA.  The project totals 200,000 square feet and is anchored by Walmart Supercenter, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and MOD Pizza. Principal Properties is the developer and asset manager. 

Suburban House

Prairie View Apartments

1998-2007

Principal Properties was actively involved in the marketing and sale of Prairie View Apartments, a 284-unit multi-family project. As Managing Partner, Principal was responsible for determining the market value of the project, analyzing the financial projections, negotiating the purchase and sale agreement and closing the transaction.

EastRidge Business Park

1998 - 2006

Principal Properties served as asset manager, property manager and co-developer for this 1 million square foot, 90-acre mixed use flex project located in Vancouver, WA.  The project achieved 96% occupancy and was sold in 2006 for a record price. Principal Properties was responsible for all operations up through and including the sale of the project.

Principal Self Storage

2016 - Present

Principal Self Storage is a new, state of the art RV and climate-controlled self-storage project in Battle Ground, WA. Opened in Summer 2019, the project features 644 completely enclosed units in a fully secured site.  Principal Properties is the developer, equity member, and asset manager.
